JUNE: This 3-week class will focus on Developing Early Writing Skills through Story Comprehension and Phonological Awareness. The retelling of stories allows students to learn to organize and describe events, which enhances reading comprehension. JULY: This 3-week class will focus on exploring Math Concepts. Students will enhance their understanding of the concept of numbers focusing on developing strategic mathematical thinking through problem solving, math games and patterns. Patterns help children make predictions and learn to make logical connections and use reasoning skills.
