  • BablerWiLD Full Day Camps - WiLD Outdoor Weeks

    PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO CAMPS FOR SUMMER We will not be able to offer Before/After Care through Adventure Club this summer - we will issue credits for those that ordered before/after care. We ARE able to offer an extension to the camp day at no additional charge. Drop off runs from 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. and pick up runs from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. We are not able to provide transportation from other sites this season due to COVID-19. Where the Wild Things Are has been moved to 6/22-26 (register now!) Outdoor Arcade has been moved to 7/27-31 (register now!) NEW CAMP! Red, White & WiLD 6/29-7/2! (register now!) Camps will begin on June 22. Summer Camp Classic has been moved to the week of July 13, and will replace H2O So Fun! which has canceled for that week. Nature and Science-Based Day Camp Located inside Babler Memorial State Park Camp in session 9 a.m.– 3 p.m., Monday – Friday Lunch will not be provided this year so please pack a sack lunch Snacks provided We are not able to provide bus transportation this season Entering Grades K-6 Where the WiLD Things Are | June 22-26 (updated dates) Investigate nature each day! Flip over a rock, see the inside of a tree, learn to use camouflage and join us for an outdoor adventure you will never forget! Outdoor Arcade | July 27-31 (updated dates) Do you play games on a computer, tablet, or game system? Now you can play those same games, no electronics needed! Join BablerWiLD as we bring some of our favorite video games to life! From classic games like Mario Kart to new favorites like Minecraft, put down the tablets and join us for some outdoor fun! Red, White & WiLD | June 29-July 2 ($209) NEW CAMP! Celebrating being outside and having fun! Learn favorite American classic hobbies with an outside twist like making hot dogs using the heat from the sun, tie dying, and lawn games. Summer Camp Classic | June 15-19 moved to July 13-17 Get ready for a classic camp experience! Get outside, meet new friends and join us for a week filled with our favorite camp activities. From Gaga ball, to creek walks, crafts, songs, and so much more. There is something for everyone during this week of BablerWiLD summer. All About Animals | July 6-10 Learn first-hand about the animals around us and the environments where they live! Special presenters will also join us this week for some up close hands on experiences! H2O So Fun! | July 13-17 (CANCELED - Summer Camp Classic has been moved to this week) Think beyond the pool this summer and join us for some water fun! Cool down with water activities all week. Race a boat, get messy with water Olympics, hit the slip n slide, and get ready for some water fun BablerWiLD style! Outdoor Escape | July 20-24 It’s like an escape room, without the room! Jump, crawl, spin, and think your way through a week of games, riddles, puzzles, and adventure in Babler State Park! WiLD, Wild West | August 3-7 Yippee Ki-Yay! Are you ready to experience the Wild West BablerWiLD style?!? Lasso a “bull”, pan for gold, and take an adventure down the Oregon Trail. This week will be full of non-stop wild west adventures! View a complete description of each BablerWiLD Day Camp program here. Grades K-6 One Week Camps $259 (Week of 6/29-7/2 is $209) Register based on the child's 2020-21 grade level. Camp Store (Not available this year) Available for Outdoor Weeks only, the camp store is an opportunity for campers to purchase one snack, one drink, and one toy at the end of each day. This program is optional, campers not participating will be given an afternoon snack in place of visiting the store. You must make a separate online purchase to add money to your campers store account. Please do not send cash or checks to camp.
  • BablerWiLD Half Day Classes - WiLD Skills

    PLEASE NOTE REVISED DATES FROM EARLIER REGISTRATION Half-Day Classes are a great way to have fun and learn new skills in a small group setting. Classes are taught and supervised by BablerWiLD staff and many include two sessions to choose from! Classes will be held inside Babler State Park at the Babler Outdoor Education Center. Grades 3-6 | Babler OEC | $25 per class Morning Session: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or Afternoon Session: 1:00-4:00 p.m. Register based on the child's 2020-21 grade level. Archery | Monday, August 17 or 20 Learn to shoot a bow and arrow under the close supervision of the BablerWiLD staff. This class is designed for beginners with minimal experience and all equipment is provided. No outside equipment will be allowed. Outdoor Skills | Tuesday, August 18 Learn first hand what it takes to light a fire and build a survival shelter. This is a great introduction to some important survival skills! Fishing | Wednesday, August 19 Cover the basics and let’s go fishing! Participants will learn to bait a hook, use a bobber, and cast a closed face reel. Fishing poles and bait will be provided.   • BablerWiLD Outdoor Education and Leadership Week

    Practice and grow your leadership skills using outdoor activities. Work on decision making skills while playing through games such as Outdoor Oregon Trail, Outdoor Escape Room, and other team initiatives.
