    Grab your family, put on your costumes and come celebrate all things pumpkin! Pumpkin painting, field games, scarecrows, s'mores and more!   • Movie Nights in the Park

    Join us Friday nights this fall for our outdoor movie night events! Bring your blankets, picnic baskets and coolers to see a new movie under the stars each week. Bring your furry friends for a night out with the whole family! Dogs must remain leashed for the entire show and all waste must be picked up. Movie: The Secret Life of Pets (PG) WEEK 2, October 10 | Date Night: Perfect for a double date! Just make sure to pack your picnic dinner and your plutonium because we're heading back to 1955 for this classic! Movie: Back to the Future (PG) WEEK 3, October 17 | Under the Stars Night: Dress up and get into character for this night full of Jedi fun! Don't forget your picnic baskets and your light sabers! Movie: The Rise of Skywalker (PG-13) WEEK 4, October 23 | Witches and Wizards Night Out: All witches and wizards are welcome so bring your broomsticks and potions and get ready for a magical night!   • Bonfire Nights at Babler State Park

    If the Bonfire you are requesting is full, please enroll for the waiting list! We are confirming with St. Louis County that we may enroll more people! Nothing says fall quite like a bonfire! Bring your family and join us Saturdays in October for a crackling bonfire and a new activity each week! Bring a picnic, charcuterie board, and a cooler and put your feet up around a pre-lit bonfire. Learn to use GPS units, navigate around camp in the dark and get rewarded with some sweet treats. A video with how-to instructions for the GPS units will be provided via email a week prior to the program. Learn to operate the GPS unit in the comfort of your own home and send in questions via email or ask over Zoom. Saturday evening, GPS units will be handed out (one per family) and everyone will get the chance to try them and ask questions before heading out to find waypoints. Grab a costume and your sense of adventure and join us for this one of a kind family event! Note: If you choose to use a personal GPS device, you must be able to input Latitude and Longitude coordinates. PRCE is not responsible for lost or damaged equipment. WEEK 2, October 10: Night Hikes and Star Gazing: Oh the things you can see, smell and hear at night! Come spend some time outside while we explore the woods with all our senses! Discover the special adaptations that help nocturnal animals survive, the reason pirates wore eye patches and why October is the month of Mars!
