  • Wildflower Walk: Spring Hiking Series

    Watch the woods come back to life as we visit glades, prairies, forests and other unique MO ecosystems to see the variety of native wildflowers blossom. This series will be held on a different trail each week. Hiking locations will be sent out each week prior to the hike and will include state parks and conservations areas in the St. Louis region (within an hour drive of West County). All trails will be marked easy to moderate and will average 2-3 miles in length.     Improve your balance and confidence through this unique ballet-inspired class! As featured in the Ladue News and on St. Louis Public Radio, this balance class consists of gentle combinations of modified barre exercises and stretches performed to music and fused with the non-impact flow of ballet. Fear not, you don't need any dance experience or attire (or coordination!). This class is gentle and adaptive perfect for adults 65 and over. Each combination works key muscle groups focusing on posture, flexibility, coordination and strength, all helping to improve balance. Taught by a professional dancer to enjoy seeing the proper execution. Dress comfortably - no special attire or experience is needed.
