THIS IS A HYBRID CLASS - You may participate online OR in person Restorative yoga is a practice that leads the yogi toward a more healing and recuperative experience, introduces a wonderful benefit to the body, mind, and heart, an opportunity for a deeper level of relaxation. This practice makes it unique for some reasons: slow down the pace of life, soothing the nerves system, encourage mindfulness, deepens self-awareness and introspection, strengthens acceptance and detachment, helps you feel safe and nurtured, restorative yoga facilitates the integration of all layers of life, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual. Bring a yoga mat and blocks where bolsters and belts are provided. Taught by Community Ed instructor Angela Jurgensen. Session 1: Mondays, Starts September 13 | 6 sessions Session 2: Mondays, Starts October 25 | 6 sessions Ellisville Elementary or Online 7:00-8:00 p.m. | Ages 18+ $55 | $27.50 Gold Card, $46.75 Silver Card Gold Card members (Parkway and Rockwood district residents ages 60 and older) receive a 50% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. You must have a Gold Card issued in your name to receive the discounted rate. Silver Card members (residents outside of the Parkway and Rockwood districts ages 60 and older) receive a 15% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. IF YOU PARTICIPATE ONLINE: Login information will be emailed to you by the instructor one (1) hour prior to your class time. Please note, this is a virtual/online class that can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. To fully participate, you will need access to the Internet during class time, and a built-in camera/microphone on your device or a webcam if you'd like to communicate directly with the instructor. Please mark your calendar with class dates as we are unable to provide make-ups or credits for missed classes. All online classes are held in the Central Time Zone.
