Some of the programs offered during this week take place during Rockwood Summer Academy hours (noted below with * after program name) . NOTE: These classes are open to all individuals. You do not have be part of Rockwood Summer Academy to participate in these programs.
BABLER ELEMENTARY
Earth in Motion* | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades 1-6 | Babler Elementary | $99 (no class June 19) Volcanos, earthquakes, wind, waves and everything in between, our earth is in constant motion! Learn all about how, what, and why the earth moves through fun hands on activities!
Not so Ordinary Art* | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades 1-6 | Babler Elementary | $99 (no class June 19) If you love art you are going to LOVE this camp! Let's think outside the box and make some truly unique projects. Paint with bubbles, paint with squirt guns, grab some clay and lets get creating something not so ordinary!
Live Like an ANIMAL* | 12:30-3:30 p.m. | Grades 1-6 | Babler Elementary | $99 (no class June 19) How do birds fly, why don't bats run into walls in the dark, how come my dog can smell things I can't? Get the answers to these questions and so much more as we put ourselves into the "paws" of some of our favorite animals as we look at the world through their eyes and practice what it means to live like an animal!
Ultimate Camp Sampler* | 12:30-3:30 p.m. | Grades 1-6 | Babler Elementary | $99 (no class June 19) A space camp, maybe a science camp, no an art camp.... Let's do them all in one week! Each day will have a different theme and topic. Let's try out some of our camper's favorite activities from previous summers all in one week!
