    2021 Presidential  Inauguratoin TripAn opportunity to witness the presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. for Parkway and Rockwood students in Grades 9-12 in the 2020-21 school year.High School students from Parkway and Rockwood (60 from each district) will get this once in a lifetime experience to witness a presidential inauguration. You will witness the inauguratoin and parade as well as Washington, D.C. landmarks that may include: Arnlington National Cemetery, White House and Parade Route (Pennsylvania Avenue), Smithsonian, Capitol Buidling, Surpreme Court, and memorials including Lincoln, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, Jefferson, Martin Luther King, FDR and the US Marine Corps War Memorial. Trip Dates: January 17-20, 2021 $879 | A $189 deposit is due at time of registration.   • Girl Scout Overnight - Brownies

    We are excited to offer our popular Girl Scout Overnight programs again this fall! Join us for an exciting weekend of badges, s’mores, and crafts at the Outdoor Education Center! Troops will work on completing two badges and will share songs, skits, and stories at the campfire! One badge will be a unique badge, created by the Babler OEC, and will count as a make your own badge! Troops will be housed together in a heated cabin and meals will be provided in the Dining Hall. Gather your troop and get ready for two days of badges and fun! November 22-23 - Brownies OvernightBadges: Painting & Making Friends Babler Outdoor Education Center Troops are required to provide adult supervision of one adult for every six scouts.  To make a reservation a minimum of six scouts and one adult is required.   SCOUT OVERNIGHT REGISTRATIONRegistration will open online August 26, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.Troop leaders/representatives can register online. A deposit of $25 is due at the time of registration and reserves 1 cabin sleeping a maximum of 20 people. If your troop requires more than 20 beds, you must make two separate reservations. A minimum of 6 scouts and 1 adult is required to make a reservation. Please contact a member of the OEC staff with questions at 636-458-3048. Registration will begin August 26, 2019 at 9 a.m. Register early, this program sells out fast! Calling All Cadettes: We are looking for cadette troops to help run this program. Possible responsibilities include helping serve food at meal times, set-up/take-down of activities, and leading songs and skits at campfire! Cost is $10 per person and covers sleeping arrangements and meals. There will be plenty of free time for cadette troops to run their own activities too. If interested please call the Babler OEC at 636-458-3048.  Following registration, you will be contacted by a member of the Babler OEC staff regarding required paperwork that must be completed and returned by October 31, 2017. Any additional participant fees (scouts-$55; adults-$25) must be paid by check or cash also by October 30, 2018.

    Get ready for some spooky family fun! Bring the whole family to Babler State Park for a trick or treat event unlike any other. Families will work together with a GPS unit to find trick or treat locations around the Babler OEC facility. Just like normal trick or treating there will be candy and prizes at each location, only now finding your way is half the fun! Instructions will be provided so no previous experience is necessary.
