  • Swim School Group Lessons: Session 4 (January 2 - February 3); Lafayette High School

    Group lessons are for ages 4 and up with classes taught in six stations. New swimmers will be evaluated and placed at a station based on their current skill level. Swimmers will advance from station to station at their own pace as they learn and can consistently perform the skills taught at each station. Our teaching progression emphasizes correct body position, stroke and kick, breathing and timing of the strokes while focusing on basic water safety, fitness and fun.

    Explore the woods with your family and discover easy ways to reconnect with nature and each other through art and play. Please be sure to dress for the weather, as we will be outdoors.   • Pond Elementary E-Hour Session 3: Jr. Robotics: LEGO WeDo and SPIKE Prime

    Children learn the basics of Robotics using LEGOs award winning WeDo 2.0 software and LEGOs newest Robotics, SPIKE Prime. First students build Robots using basic LEGOs and Technic LEGOs and then program the models using drag and drop programming from tablets. All participants take home a custom man mini figures.
  • Babler Elementary E-Hour Session 3: Kid's Comedy

    Do you like to chuckle? Do you enjoy making others laugh? This class is designed to bring out the sense of humor within you---while having a blast in the process! You’ll learn hilarious skits and jokes, how to deliver them, and what makes something funny. You’ll experience theater games, and you’ll take home a new gag each week—such as silly glasses, squirting cameras, snapping gum, and many more! Class culminates with students putting on a family comedy show. Goals are to develop public speaking skills, comedic creativity, and to have a lot of laughs!

    Take a journey to the farthest reaches of the imagination while learning the rainforest, Mars, and a futuristic city! Use the design thinking process to solve real-world problems in these different environments. Experiment with Crayola® products and many art techniques like sculpting, collage, and mixed media. Discover design careers like graphic design, fashion design, urban design, and board game design.

    Bulldog Running Club We are excited to announce the return of the Bulldog Running Club! This club is an opportunity to increase your student’s fitness level and love of running through regular opportunities to run together. We hope to inspire our students to grow in their physical and mental health and gain the experience of being on a team. During each club meeting, students will be encouraged to run a mile or as much as they are able to. If they have time & choose to run further, they may. This club is open to all Babler students K-5. We will be hosting an AM session on Tuesdays and a PM session on Thursdays. Your student can come to either or both sessions. The Bulldog Running Club is a fitness program to encourage a healthy lifestyle.     Designed to pair strategic STEM‐based activities with basic game‐play and current hot topics across multiple sports, the STEM Sports® curriculum gives students the opportunity to get behind the sports they love with modules centered around technology, science and innovation.
