Vanish coins! Change a card that a spectator is holding in their hand! These are just a few of the tricks you’ll learn in Abra-Kid-Abra’s Mind Reading & Other Cool Tricks Camp! Most of the tricks involve reading, spelling, or writing—so not only will you have fun learning magic, but you’ll hone your literary skills as well! You’ll get your own magic box, and new tricks to put in it daily. Twist animal balloons, learn comedy bits, and discover fun betchas you can pull on your friends! Camp culminates with students putting on a show for their families. Goals are to develop presentation skills & confidence, improve reading skills, and to have fun! Just imagine what might be down there! Let's take some time to discover some of the most interesting sea creatures that we know of, and then let's take some time to create some creatures that "might" be down there. Imagination Creation* | 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Grades 1-6 | Eureka Elementary | $119 The best creations come from our imaginations! Whether it's a new type of animal, a creature that lives in your head, a new type of roller coaster or anything in between, we want to create it! You must have a Gold Card issued in your name to receive the discounted rate. If you do not have a Gold Card and would like to request one, complete an online request form. For any questions, please call us at 636-891-6644. Silver Card members (residents outside of the Parkway and Rockwood districts ages 60 and older) receive a 15% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout. You must have a Silver Card membership to receive the discounted rate (you will not receive a physical card). If you are not registered for a Silver Card and would like to register, complete this online request form. Note: the Silver card does not provide free/reduced admission to Parkway or Rockwood High School sponsored events. IF YOU PARTICIPATE ONLINE: Login information will be emailed to you by the instructor one (1) hour prior to your class time. Please note, this is a virtual/online class that can be accessed from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. To fully participate, you will need access to the Internet during class time, and a built-in camera/microphone on your device or a webcam if you'd like to communicate directly with the instructor. Please mark your calendar with class dates as we are unable to provide make-ups or credits for missed classes. All online classes are held in the Central Time Zone.
