From basic education to high school equivalency prep to English and citizenship classes, we help empower adults through education and lifelong learning. All programs are free and open to Missouri residents. School Year Non-School Days and Holidays Youth can learn to swim at their own pace in our SwimAmerica program or take their swimming to the next level with our nationally recognized Rockwood Swim Club. Adult programs include aqua aerobics, masters/lap swim and swim lessons. Experience the outdoors! From our BablerWiLD on-site programs at Babler State Park to our Trek and Travel program offering one-of-a-kind trips across the country, our staff are experts at making nature, learning and fun meet for all ages. Learning continues beyond the bell with youth programs before/after school (E-Hour), evenings and summer. Adults can stay active and engaged in a programs offered at school locations and online. Families can join us for special events throughout the year. Youth and adults can participate in a variety of leagues, programs and clinics ranging from instructional to recreational to advanced. Our nationally recognized Rockwood Thunder Volleyball Club allows players to take their game to the next level. TutorConnection connects certified Parkway and Rockwood teachers and professionals with parents who are looking for private, fee-based tutoring for their children at a Parkway or Rockwood location. Classes help students enhance basic reading, writing, and math skills in preparation for high school equivalency (HSE/GED) along with college and career readiness. Free to Missouri residents. We serve international speakers of other languages, 17 years of age and older. We provide comprehensive classes focusing on developing the student’s ability to speak, read, write and understand English. Taught in a small group setting, you will learn to float, kick, swim and be safe in the water. This low impact workout challenges adults of all ages who want to get in shape. Shallow water and deep water classes available. Infant Swimming Resource goes beyond traditional swimming instruction by teaching ISR Self Rescue techniques to help children survive should they find themselves in the water. Our pre-competitive programs are the perfect fit. Youth and adults are invited to join us this summer for scuba programs. Learn the basics of scuba and work towards PADI Open Water certification. BablerWiLD is a science and nature based day camp located in Babler State Park offering unique summer camp opportunities for children in grades pre-k through 8th grade.
