Digital Photography

Whether you’ve used a film camera in the past, are taking photos with the camera in your phone or just wanting to get started in photography, this class will give you a head start and guide you around some of the pitfalls of using this constantly changing technology. Topics we’ll cover include: Camera costs and tradeoffs, Converting your old photos, negatives and slides to digital images, Useful camera accessories. Lenses, lights and flashes, Camera fun and cool photos, Editing and publishing your photos, Keeping your photos safe, Ethics and legal issues, Next steps and resources. Taught by Community Ed Instructor Greg Krumrey.

Gold Card/Golden Key Card members (district residents ages 60 and older) receive a 50% discount for this class. The discounted rate will automatically be applied at checkout.
